Guys. This is what absentee ballots are being mailed in.
Pay attention to your mail. If you see Trump on it, as disgusting as this is, don’t throw it out. Check it first. This is absolutely appalling.
Check your mail. Make sure you don’t throw out your vote on accident because it’s got Trump’s cheating, lying, racist face on it.
No, this is NOT a ballot and this is not how ballots arrive. This is a ballot REQUEST form being mailed by the Arizona Republican party so Republican voters can send in REQUESTS to get an absentee ballot sent to them - you can see that on the form itself. I have gotten two such forms already from the Democratic party in my area. The parties send them out so people can easily REQUEST their ballots. This is NOT a ballot. You can get these from anyone’s website without the branding.
That said- make sure you know your ballot times, and rules - like secrecy envelopes - so you can vote correctly when you do send in your ballot.
I went through a lot of things after surviving abuse, but one of the things that traumatized me the most was how all the shrinks and counselors treated my anger.
I wish someone had said this to me, instead of making me feel like a monster.
There’s nothing wrong with being pansexual and there’s nothing wrong with being bisexual, and no matter the similarities or differences that may or may not be between them, both identities are valid and deserve love, respect, and representation.
Edit: please credit me if you respost this to another platform
[id: There are four images.
The first one has a light pink background and says in white text “Pansexuality is not transphobic”.
The second one had a light blue background and says “Bisexuality is not enbyphobic”.
The third one is light purple and says “Neither bisexuality nor pansexuality is superior or inferior to the other”.
The last one has a light yellow background and says “Bi and pan are both valid LGBTQ identities”.]
My psychiatry professor says individuals with a higher IQ when children must be stimulated to develop it further or else they are more susceptible to develop anxiety and depression and also “falling off the curve”. And since as a child you can’t control the circumstances of your development, I’m sad to inform that your family and society have failed you.
This explains…..so much
Your family and society failed you but not because they weren’t “intellectually stimulating” enough.
It’s because everyone thought you were mature because you were book smart and thought you needed less teaching and care.
And let you build an identity on being a “smart kid” without helping you build your own inherent self worth, or skills you need to be a functionally, emotionally stable adult.
Now you’re not a kid anymore, or feeling particularly smart after burnout when your peak was in elementary school.
The solution isn’t to throw kids in harder classes and give them more stress and expectations to live up to, it’s to work on them as a person instead of as a set of skills needed to find a job.
Also keep in mind that psychiatry professors, psychologists, behavioral scientists and the like aren’t the true experts. Their knowledge is second-hand. No amount of studying can teach them more than what mentally ill people know when their lived experiences.
Signed, a former “gifted kid” with anxiety, depression, and dissociation
Turns out this has nothing to do with the plague, it’s even weirder than that - during the Renaissance, Florence didn’t collect any taxes on wine produced ‘for the family’. So obviously some of the city’s richest men decided they’d start selling their wines directly from their own homes instead of selling it through restaurants, thus making a lot more money (no taxes and no middle man). Wine could be bought by the bottle or by the glass, and the fact the customers didn’t set foot inside the house probably a) prevented theft and b) preserved the illusion that the place was not a place of trade.
Occasionally, alms for also left in there.
These ‘buchette del vino’ (literally ‘little wine holes’) are a typical Florentine phenomenon and had been in use until fairly recently; over the last decade people have started restorating and reopening them. There are about 170 of them around Florence. Here are a few ones:
not weird. in Italy, the reason is ALWAYS tax evasion
🏳️🌈 Ruth Ellis (1899 - 2000) was the daughter of former slaves. She came out as a lesbian when she was 16-years-old to the complete acceptance of her family. In 1937, Ruth and her longtime partner moved to Detroit from their hometown of Springfield, Illinois for the promise of higher wages. There, she became the first woman in Michigan to run her own printing business. She printed fliers, posters, and stationary in the front room of her home, which also quickly became a hotspot for Black LGBTQ social life. Before long, Ruth was helping those who came around in any way she could, including by paying for college tuitions. After the Stonewall uprising, 70-year-old Ruth began giving speeches in support of gay and lesbian rights all across the country. She remained an activist for the rest of her long life and even spent her 100th birthday leading the San Francisco Dyke March. At the time of her death at 101, she was recognized as the oldest out lesbian in the US. She is the subject of the documentary “Living With Pride: Ruth C. Ellis @ 100” and is the namesake of the Ruth Ellis Center, a shelter for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth in Detroit.
